Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Quality Inspector for weekend shifts (Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:30pm) at the North Berwick, ME facility. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, and equipment, documenting results and dispositioning items per procedures.

DX certification and experience with Solumina and SAP are required. Join a collaborative team focused on accuracy, continuous improvement, and maintaining inspection stamps.

Qualifications

• Inspection experience with current DX certification (OEM or AMO).
• Familiarity with Solumina & SAP.
• Able to navigate Excel and Outlook.
• High School or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection following standardized methods and established techniques to verify accuracy of parts, tools, gages or other equipment and accept or reject material based on findings.
• Document inspection findings and disposition parts as acceptable or requiring repair based on your findings.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Perform mathematical computations to determine extent of nonconformance, and document.
• Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• Must maintain Inspection stamp.
• Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
• Flexibility around shifts, including overtime.
• Weekend Shift — Friday-Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm.
