Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, located in North Berwick, ME, is seeking an Inspector for a weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 6:00am–6:30pm) to perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts and tools, document findings, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role is onsite and emphasizes adherence to procedures and manuals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, DX certification, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook; prior AMO inspection experience and familiarity with Solumina and SAP are

Qualifications

• Inspection experience with current DX certification (OEM or AMO).
• Familiarity with Solumina & SAP.
• Able to navigate Excel and Outlook.
• High School or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection following standardized methods and established techniques to verify accuracy of parts, tools, gauges or other equipment.
• Directly support the GTF Ducts & Seals (DNS) Cell in a major WIP burndown effort to support the fleet.
• Document inspection findings and disposition parts as acceptable or requiring repair.
• Integrate with the existing team to foster a collaborative and problem-solving environment.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Perform mathematical computations to determine extent of nonconformance, and document.
• Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
