Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking a Paint Technician to apply protective paints to turbine engine components.

You will ensure proper preparation of surfaces before spraying and learn various paint application processes and equipment used for aerospace components. As you gain experience, your responsibilities will expand, offering hands-on growth and additional operator duties within our extensive in-house training program (OJT).

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment with some paint application experience.
• Experience using measuring devices such as scales, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ability to read shop drawings and work instructions and document work performed.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols to ensure compliance with policies.
• Clean surfaces to be painted to ensure paint adhesion.
• Set up fixtures for holding parts during painting.
• Mix paint and load spray equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform spray tests to ensure proper mixture and operation.
