Component Repair Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Blast Operator to support aerospace turbine engine component repair. You will learn and perform a variety of blast techniques, using aluminum oxide and plastic media, under a structured training program.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with pressure gauges.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic shop math, including decimals and fractions.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to understand step-by-step processes from work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate blast machines and related equipment per work instructions and manufacturer specs.
• Set up and adjust blasting processes, masking, and surface prep for parts.
• Inspect blast equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Move parts and materials using hoists, slings, and carts as required.
• Read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Communicate work-related issues to supervisors and other departments promptly.
