Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) is seeking a Paint Technician to apply protective coatings to turbine engine components. The role emphasizes proper surface preparation, spray application, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will train through an extensive program and advance with growing responsibilities as skills develop. Based in Mentor, OH, CRT offers hands-on experience with aerospace components, exposure to various paint processes, and opportunity for career growth

Formación

• Two years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment, with some paint application exposure.
• Experience reading shop drawings and work instructions; documenting performed work.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Clean surfaces to be painted to ensure paint adhesion.
• Set up fixtures for holding parts during painting.
• Mix paint per manufacturer guidelines and load spray equipment.
• Perform spray tests to verify mixture and equipment function.
• Apply paint evenly to non-masked areas according to work instructions.
• Inspect components with defined criteria; remove masking as required.
• Record all necessary information on applicable documentation.
