Job summary

RTX is hiring a Chemical Process Technician II for its Lenexa, KS site. This onsite role runs 1st shift, 6:00am–2:30pm, and involves operating equipment to process materials for oxygen generator lines. You will follow SOPs, monitor quality, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma/GED and strong attention to detail. You will support production, handle basic inventory tasks, and escalate complex issues to higher levels as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work safely in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and manual equipment to process manufacturing batches.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety rules.
• Maintain housekeeping and organize work area to company standards.
• Assist with inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Work under direct supervision with increasing responsibility as you gain experience.
