Collins Aerospace in Lenexa, KS seeks a Chemical Process Technician II to operate equipment and process materials for oxygen generator production. Responsibilities include adhering to SOPs, maintaining safety standards, inspecting parts, and managing production inventory in a controlled environment.

The role runs on a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with detailed quality control and process optimization responsibilities across teams. HS diploma and 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and protocols.
• Strong knowledge of chemical processing principles, equipment and procedures.
• Prior experience to work in a collaborative manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Measures and mix dry chemical solutions following standardized formulas or protocols to create life-saving oxygen systems.
• Demonstrates an overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies/procedures.
• Performs all work in compliance with standard operating procedures, utilizing current skills and safety requirements including PPE.
• Maintains and expects high housekeeping and organizational standards.
• Inspects parts for defects and performs quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
• Manages inventory for materials used in production and orders new supplies as needed.
