Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Handler II for Onsite operations in Lenexa, KS. You will support production by delivering materials and maintaining inventory accuracy, with emphasis on safety and timely deliveries.

The role operates on the 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm) and requires attention to detail, the ability to prioritize requests, and basic computer/WMS skills. Onsite environment with standard manufacturing conditions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/warehouse/material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, components, packaging, and supplies from warehouse to production areas.
• Transfer incoming stock into warehouse bin locations.
• Monitor material requirements and respond to production requests.
• Verify material quantities, part numbers, and labels before delivering to production floor.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and material transactions in systems/documentation.
• Return unused or excess materials to appropriate warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory counts and investigate material discrepancies.
• Keep staging areas and aisles organized and free of obstructions.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other equipment as authorized.
• Follow safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Communicate shortages, delays, or issues to supervisor/production personnel.
• Prioritize deliveries based on production schedules.
• Support continuous improvement of material flow and inventory accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
