Job summary

Molex is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Operations professional in Kansas City to manage sales orders, ensure ERP accuracy, and coordinate across departments to meet delivery commitments.

You will validate pricing and schedules, manage order health, and prepare communications to customers while supporting account managers and cross-functional teams. Strong ERP skills and aerospace/defense familiarity are a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in sales order entry, customer service, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficient with ERP/order-entry systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read and interpret documents clearly.
• Comfortable performing basic business math and applying problem solving in standardized situations.
• Experience with international orders or export documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer orders, ensuring accurate ERP entry before production release.
• Validate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality/flowdown codes; coordinate clarifications as needed.
• Proactively monitor open orders and coordinate with schedulers to prevent delays.
• Prepare and issue sales order acknowledgements, quotes, and customer communications clearly and timely.
• Support account managers with escalations, schedule adjustments, and PTO coverage.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and production to provide technical guidance and communicate customer developments.
• Maintain customer accounts and documentation per procedures; assist with reproms and catalog requests.
• Act as backup to the main switchboard and perform related clerical duties.
