Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Springdale, AR is seeking an Inspector for Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) to support the FAA-regulated aerospace manufacturing process. This is a second shift onsite role, Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, at a facility that performs non-destructive testing on engine cases and components.

You will inspect parts, document results, and coordinate with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure conformance to work instructions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship may be required for access to program.
• FAA/DOT compliance and safety requirements are in place.

Responsibilities

• Inspect internal case structure using inspection equipment.
• Prepare and complete required inspection documents and stamping.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations and materials as needed.
• Review work instructions, repair operations, and blueprints.
• Use inspection tools including FPI booth and fixtures.
• Assist Level III QE in developing test techniques.
