Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT is seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Testing Inspector to perform Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) on aerospace engine cases, identifying defects and documenting results to verify conformance with instructions.

You will operate FPI booths and related equipment, prepare inspection documents, coordinate with engineering, quality and operations, and ensure compliance with safety and DOT/FAA policies.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.
• Experience with non-destructive testing methods is preferred.
• U.S. Person status may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT FPI inspections on engine cases.
• Prepare and process inspection documents and reports.
• Operate FPI booth and related inspection equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and operations as needed.
• Review work instructions and blueprints to ensure conformance.
