Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business unit, seeks an experienced NDT Inspector to perform Fluorescent Penetration Inspection and related methods on aerospace engine casings. You will prepare documents, verify conformance with work instructions, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.

The role requires a HS diploma, 1 year of NDT experience, and a Level 2 certification where available. On-site shift runs Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, with comprehensive benefits and union considerations.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level 2 certification preferred.
• 1 year of related experience in NDT methods and aviation component repair is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) and related NDT methods on engine casings.
• Prepare inspection reports and stamping to indicate acceptability of parts.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure conformance to work instructions.
• Review blueprints, repair operations, and instructions; use FPI booth equipment.
