Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.
• NDT Level 2 certification preferred and highly regarded.
• MS Office knowledge a plus; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) on engine cases to identify defects.
• Clean and process parts using FPI Booth; inspect internal case structure with equipment.
• Prepare and complete required inspection documents and stamping to indicate acceptability of parts.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, quality lab, operations and materials as needed.
• Review work instructions, repair operations requirements and blueprints; use inspection tools.
• Assist Level III Quality Engineer in developing test techniques and ensure compliance with DOT/FAA policies.
