Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Springdale site in Arkansas is seeking an onsite Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) Inspector for a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 am–6:30 pm). You will inspect engine case parts, prepare inspection documentation, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure conformance to work instructions.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Inspect internal case structure using inspection equipment.
• Prepare and complete required inspection documents and stamping.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations as needed.
• Review work instructions, repair operations requirements and blueprints.
• Use inspection tools including FPI Booth and related equipment.
• Assist Level III QE in developing test techniques.
• Comply with DOT and FAA anti-drug and alcohol policies.
