Job summary

Vibrant Corporation in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an analytical and hands-on Application Engineer to join our PCRT team. You will bridge data science and physical engineering, analyzing resonance data and developing NDT solutions for critical aerospace and automotive components.

Travel up to 30%, work on cutting-edge non-destructive evaluation technologies, and contribute to safety and reliability of systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, materials science, math, or CS.
Minimum 5 years of full-time engineering/industry experience.
Experience in aerospace, power, automotive or similar high-consequence fields.
Ability to comply with DoT/FAA drug and alcohol testing programs.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

Data & Analysis: collect and analyze resonance testing data; design experiments and multivariable studies.
Solution Deployment: configure, test, and troubleshoot resonance inspection systems at sites.
Customer Collaboration: build strong technical relationships and provide top-tier support.
R&D Support: research hardware/methods for NDE and write technical reports/proposals.
Compliance & Quality: adhere to AS9100 and FAA Part 145 requirements.
Travel: travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
