Job summary

Cyient is seeking an NDT technician to perform and oversee nondestructive testing according to NAS410/BSS7698 standards. You will utilize ultrasonic, eddy current, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant methods to detect defects and verify compliance on aerospace components.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, conducting performance checks, documenting results, and evaluating acceptance.

Qualifications

• Meet NAS 410 Level 2 certification.
• Experience with multiple NDT methods.
• Ability to set up and standardize equipment.
• Maintain calibration and documentation.
• Collaborate with QA and engineering to address non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize NDT equipment and interpret results.
• Perform system checks, document outcomes, and decide acceptance.
• Obtain required formal training hours for methods and pursue certifications.

• Prepare written work instructions with engineer approval.
