Job summary
The Boeing Company in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Nondestructive Evaluation Engineer to join our Composite Materials and Nondestructive Evaluation Team on a contract basis. You will apply knowledge of materials and processes to provide technical support for non-destructive inspection of composites and metals across fixed wing, rotorcraft and proprietary program platforms.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- 3+ years of experience working in Nondestructive Evaluation.
- U.S. Person export control eligibility is required to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and interprets ultrasonic inspection results.
- Designs reference standards for inspections.
- Develops NDT inspection plans and sequencing.
- Reviews/approves internal and supplier inspection techniques.
- Develops and qualifies NDT inspections.
- Qualifies NDT inspection equipment.
- Maintains proficiency in NDE methods relevant to the role.
- Interfaces with multiple engineering teams on inspection requirements.
