Job summary

RTX is seeking a manufacturing assembler in McKinney, TX for a first shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). The role focuses on manual assembly of microelectronic components, soldering, and operating both semi-automatic and automated processing equipment.

Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED and at least 2 years in a related field, with a strong safety focus and attention to detail. The successful candidate will work on-site in a manufacturing team, following strict instructions, reading engineering

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a microelectronics manufacturing environment in aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual assembly tasks and soldering.
• Operate semi and automated processing equipment; handle ovens.
• Use a microscope for inspection and verification of work.
• Follow detailed written work instructions and record nonconformances in FOS.
• Communicate effectively, multi-task, and adapt to changing assignments.
