Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to repair, calibrate, and service SMT/Semiconductor assembly equipment on the 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to work with schematics under EHS guidelines. On-site work and weekend/overtime may be required.

Applicants should have an AA/AS degree with at least six years of relevant experience and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Requires AA/AS degree (2-year post high school) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience using electrical schematics to follow voltages through systems to board level.
U.S. citizenship is required for access to information.

Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, and calibrate SMT/ Semiconductor assembly equipment and related systems (leak check systems, refrigeration, automated die placers, stencil printers, adhesive dispensers, wire bonders, plasma cleaners, wet cleaners, ovens, material handling systems).
Execute preventative maintenance and calibration procedures for equipment assigned.
Provide manpower for equipment moves and setups and follow EHS safety guidelines.
Work directly with factory production personnel and all engineering teams within Assembly Process Engineering Department.
Overtime and weekend work may be needed to support factory activities.
