Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an onsite Manufacturing Assembly Technician with hands-on soldering experience to join a microelectronics team. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in related fields and experience in aerospace/defense environments.

The ideal candidate will handle manual assembly, use microscopes, follow detailed instructions in FOS, and perform rework with attention to quality and safety. Shift is Sunday–Thursday nights, onsite in the North Texas area.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED, plus vocational/technical education with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in microelectronics manufacturing in aerospace or defense.

Responsibilities

• Manual assembly tasks, solder, operating semi and automated processing equipment, operating ovens, using a microscope to perform and inspect work.
• Sit and stand for prolonged period.
• Follow detailed written work instructions using our Factory Operating System (FOS), create nonconformances in FOS, and perform rework.
• Communicate effectively, multi-task, and be flexible with the work assignments.
• Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and perform in-process inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
