Zusammenfassung

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer II to support the MSEN organization. You will plan and execute design activities, monitor progress, and communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders.

You will complete design subtasks, create solid models, and coordinate with SMEs for review and approval while performing tolerance analyses and cross-discipline handoffs to ensure robust engine component designs. This onsite role requires up to 20% travel.

Qualifikationen

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree.
• Relevant experience in mechanical design engineering with a track record of delivering projects.

Aufgaben

• Design subtasks and parts with minimal guidance, own results and obtain SME/Discipline Chief approvals.
• Create solid models, print redlines, and coordinate with Product Definition on release.
• Perform tolerance stacks and sizing calculations following standard work and best practices.
• Coordinate cross-discipline handoffs and communicate design impacts to structural, thermal, and secondary-flow teams.
