Job summary

RTX is seeking a Project Engineer II within Pratt & Whitney's Mechanical Systems, Externals, & Nacelles (MSEN) Engineering team to support the ECU IPT lifecycle, from validation to production delivery.

The role collaborates cross-functionally to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and hardware validation, providing technical leadership and ensuring on-time program execution across domestic and international sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 2 years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree.
Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills to work across functions.
Experience with project management and planning tools (Agile, SAP, Primavera, MS Project).

Responsibilities

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets with IPT and stakeholders.
Support schedule, risk, and resource management to meet program requirements.
Track progress, identify risks, and communicate status to CIPT and management.
Coordinate activities across procurement, manufacturing, validation, and engineering.
Lead hardware and validation activities, including hardware delivery planning and testing.
Resolve technical and programmatic issues to maintain schedules and commitments.
Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
