RTX’s Collins Aerospace facility in Opa Locka, FL is seeking a Survey and Repair Technician II to inspect, repair, and overhaul landing gear components. The role requires meticulous measurement, documentation, and adherence to overhaul manuals and customer requirements.

You will work on assembly and testing of parts, using hand and power tools, and supporting calibration tasks in a safety-sensitive environment. The position is onsite with a first shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• First shift 5:45am – 2:15pm, Monday–Friday.
• Repairman certificate and A&P license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspects Landing Gear components for damage.
• Records the condition and dimensions to determine repair/overhaul requirements.
• Assembles fabricated parts, components or units.
• Tests and calibrates parts to meet tolerances and specifications.
• Sets up repair and test facilities and follows repair/return processes.
