Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly motivated engineer for an onsite role in the aerospace and defense sector. You will read and interpret technical documents, draft parts with 3D CAD tools, and maintain Bills of Materials while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, design reviews, and leadership in technical discussions. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required with relevant CAD experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required or expected by start date.
• Experience with CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, NX, Catia, AutoCAD, Autodesk or equivalent.
• Prior internship or work experience in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Design, revise, and draft parts and assemblies using 3D CAD software.
• Configure and maintain Bills of Materials, long lead parts lists.
• Lead technical conversations with internal and external customers.
• Lead and participate in design reviews.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional project teams.
