RTX is seeking a mechanical design professional to collaborate with senior engineers on designs, drawings, and documentation for mechanical hardware and assemblies. You will interpret requirements and contribute to the full system life cycle from proposal through certification and aftermarket support.

Work closely with systems engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure designs meet project goals and manufacturability. Travel approximately 5% is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with mechanical assemblies, fabrication drawings, parts lists, weldments, GD&T.
• Experience with metal fabrication, machining, and welding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and produce engineering reports.
• Typically requires a STEM degree or advanced degree in related field.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to designs and revisions for mechanical hardware and assemblies.
• Review change requests and support testing and documentation.
• Interpret requirements and implement them into designs for medium complexity components.
• Support full system life cycle from proposal to aftermarket support; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Travel up to 5%.
