Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern in Cedar Rapids, IA, onsite. You will create and modify mechanical designs, support build activities, and assist with systems integration and qualification testing, using CAD tools like NX, SolidWorks, Creo, Catia, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering solutions, follow engineering drawings, and expand your knowledge of mechanical packaging of electronics for aerospace applications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and enrolled through the internship period.
• Experience with Unigraphics NX or similar CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, Catia, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and/or Autodesk.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
