Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a Materials Specialist to support production through receiving, stocking, and staging materials on-site in Hamilton, WA. Responsibilities include operating a forklift, performing inventory counts, and utilizing barcode scanners to manage materials through SAP transactions and put-away processes.

The role features multiple levels with increasing responsibilities, including QA coordination, freezer management, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some forklift experience and ability to obtain certification.
• Previous warehousing experience.
• Must have basic math skills; able to work independently.
• Valid drivers license required; ability to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and file incoming materials; confirm against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Move materials using forklift; stock, stage, and distribute per procedures; support production.
• Maintain freezer and frozen materials inventory; perform SAP transactions for frozen items.
