Job summary

Janicki Industries, an innovative aerospace company, seeks a Materials Specialist to support production by receiving, stocking, and staging materials on-site in Bellingham, WA. The role involves mixing putties and paints, operating forklifts, and ensuring accurate inventory using barcode systems.

The candidate will perform Level I duties with growth to Level II/III, handle SAP transactions, maintain stock levels, and collaborate with Purchasing and QA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required; must pass certification.
• Must possess basic math skills; must work independently.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a government issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift safely for loading and unloading pallets.
• Performs receiving functions and verifies shipments against orders.
• Puts away materials and stocks production with barcode scanning.
• Supports production by staging and distributing materials for use.
• Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Maintains freezer inventory and performs related SAP transactions.
