Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking a Materials Handler to maintain inventory accuracy, stage and ship finished goods, and support cycle counting. This on-site role requires 1 year related experience and a high school diploma.

You will move materials within the factory, help resolve issues, and ensure compliance with EHS rules while working with minimal supervision; forklift certification and ERP/SAP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience related to materials, shipping or receiving.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and control material stores (finished goods and raw materials).
• Package, stage, and ship finished goods; expedite critical shipments when needed.
• Assist with cycle counting and material flow to/from the factory.
• Resolve materials-related issues with supervision or manager interaction.
• Follow EHS rules and report incidents; work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain 5s standards and keep area clean daily.
