The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Materials and Processes Test Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join a fast-paced Boeing Defense and Space lab supporting QA/QC, design, development and investigative tasks. Primary duties include material testing for SI/WS products and addressing requests from BDS and BCA platforms.

Responsibilities span test design, equipment maintenance, supplier qualification support, data analysis, and adherence to safety and quality systems.

Formación

• 2+ years' related work experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• Preferred: 5+ years of related work experience in Aerospace performing Mechanical or Materials Engineering work.

Responsabilidades

• Support long-term testing of material compatibility for compliance.
• Maintain test equipment needed to execute complex test requests.
• Test design and execution of pressurized systems (hydraulic and pneumatic).
• Develop tool designs for use in efficiency projects within a lab environment.
• Incorporate changes to specifications and other documents for deployment of materials, parts and processes.
• Perform tests to qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements.
• Assist with activities to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements.
• Conduct basic analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts or processes.
• Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Use project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.
• Incorporate environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles in daily work.
