Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Huntsville, AL, is seeking an Associate Quality Engineer to support the AMBD program. You will perform First Article Inspections, disposition of non-conformances, review drawing requirements, and interface with customers and stakeholders.

This on-site role requires a U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, with a 4x10 shift A schedule and travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in engineering or similar field required.
• 1+ year reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specs.
• 1+ year in continuous improvement, manufacturing, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Research quality requirements per contracts and Boeing QMS.
• Develop quality metrics and certification plans for compliance.
• Analyze capability assessments to support supplier selection.
• Participate in reviews to embed quality in design.
• Perform data analysis for manufacturing/test readiness.
• Provide disposition for non-conformances.
• Analyze non-conformance trends to guide corrective actions.
• Compile performance reports to ensure process capability.
