Job summary

The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead production/test software development for ADaPS. You will drive architecture, replace obsolete test equipment, and apply DevSecOps across programs, enabling faster deployment and higher factory throughput.

You will coordinate with Chief Engineers and customers to resolve issues across IAMD projects. ADaPS organization and Boeing Defense, Space & Security focus on delivering robust software for missiles and defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• 10+ years’ experience in Software Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience designing and developing software using Python, C/C++, C# and/or Java.
• Experience with software development on Windows or Linux.
• Experience in Missile Defense Programs.
• Experience programming in LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Leads, oversees, and defines requirements, designs and develops test equipment software and simulations, tests and verifies adherence to requirements, and supports validation of test equipment.
• Mentors and supports training and development of team members to include troubleshooting issues and planning and executing improvements in processes and products to support factory automation.
• Plans and implements development and sustainment improvements of test equipment SW including implementation of DevSecOps principles.
• Integrated architecting of solutions across current and future test equipment platforms.
• Supports research and development planning and execution of future factory efforts.
• Senior support to Integrated Product Teams and Chief Engineers involving major subcontractor integration, and HW design integrations.
