Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a Production Planner in Middletown, CT. The role focuses on driving material planning, scheduling, and production control to meet customer demand and capacity targets. Onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship and collaboration with finance, operations, and supply chain teams.

The position emphasizes integration of IBP/SIOP processes, master planning, and risk mitigation within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, materials management/materials planning, quality, supply chain or related field; or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years’ experience.
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Execute materials transformation initiatives and drive strategic materials management.
• Release material, manage handling methods, kitting and material movement following line back logistics fundamentals.
• Develop strategies and goals for production planning to meet capacity, inventory, cost, and on-time delivery targets.
• Collaborate with CSMC administration, materials, operations, quality, engineering, and 3PL to meet customer expectations.
• Oversee activities across multiple CSMC business units to align monthly and yearly production plans.
• Maintain and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet demand and material availability.
• Conduct risk assessments to mitigate capacity constraints and supply disruptions.
• Perform regular Performance to Plan reviews and rolling production planning.
• Organize production data into weekly or monthly planning grids and coordinate with finance and operations.
