Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead for the 2nd shift in Los Angeles, CA to oversee and coordinate assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of aerospace components. You will train operators, resolve issues, and drive process improvements while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive aerospace experience, and proficiency with hydraulic and electrical test equipment. Local candidates within 50 miles preferred for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Seven years minimum experience in aerospace assembly and testing of hydraulic or electromechanical control valves and knowledge of hydraulic test equipment.
• One year experience assisting and/or leading teams or initiatives.
• No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates residing within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA facility will be considered.
• Access to export-controlled information required; U.S. person status may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Assign work and manage workload to meet production schedules.
• Train and mentor operators, assemblers, and technicians.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Lead process improvements and coordinate with Quality and Engineering.
• Prepare production reports and support department meetings.
