Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Aer FMC division is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead for the 2nd shift in the Los Angeles area. The role oversees assigning work, keeping on schedule, training operators, and acting as a liaison between production floor, Quality and Engineering.

You will assemble and test mechanical assemblies for aerospace customers and lead continuous improvement efforts, ensuring safety and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ten years of aerospace assembly and testing experience with hydraulic or electromechanical valves.
• Experience assisting/leading teams or initiatives (1 year minimum).
• Candidates must live within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA facility.

Responsibilities

• Assign work and ensure on-schedule completion; act as liaison between Assembly, Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering and Planning.
• Apply technical skills to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical products with minimal guidance.
• Assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot and test mechanical assemblies and subassemblies; ensure proper tooling and documentation.
• Lead department meetings and drive process improvements; mentor operators and technicians.
• Manage workflow, train new staff, and escalate issues as needed; ensure safety and compliance.
