Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler B for the Los Angeles, CA facility to assemble and test mechanical assemblies and subassemblies of diverse aerospace-related products. The role requires reading blueprints and wiring diagrams, using a range of hand tools, and adhering to strict documentation practices.

The position follows a 2nd shift (1:45pm–11:45pm, Mon–Fri) with a base hourly rate of 25.88 plus a 2.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in assembly within manufacturing, aerospace, or military environments.
• Minimum of 2 years of testing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical assemblies.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies with proper tooling and documentation.
• Organize data and prepare test reports.
• Perform visual inspection and identify defective items per procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and testing schematics.
