Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Manufacturing Team Lead - 2nd Shift to supervise and coordinate production of hydraulic/electro-mechanical assemblies. Core hours 1:45pm to 10:15pm; lead will assign work, ensure on-time completion, train operators and resolve discrepancies on the shop floor.

You will test assemblies, work with Quality and Engineering, and drive process improvements while maintaining safety and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years aerospace assembly and testing experience with hydraulic or electromechanical control valves.
• Experience assisting and/or leading teams or initiatives.
• Ability to read hydraulic/electrical blueprints and testing schematics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign work, follow schedule, and train operators.
• Assemble, test, troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Lead team meetings and drive process improvements.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and proper documentation.
