Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at the Los Angeles, CA facility. You will lead a manufacturing cell, ensure on-time production, quality, and safety while driving Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement across functions.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to meet customer requirements, manage costs, and develop a high-performance culture. This role requires strong leadership and manufacturing expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in operations/manufacturing.
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisor/manager of people experience.

Responsibilities

• Review production orders/schedules to plan department operations.
• Develop or revise standard operating practices and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, SPC and continuous improvement initiatives; initiate Kaizen events as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering during design phases to ensure manufacturability and delivery times.
• Coach and develop team members; support training plans and cross-training opportunities.
