Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FMC division seeks an Assembler Tester B for the 2nd shift at the Los Angeles, CA facility. The role involves assembling, testing, and documenting mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for commercial and military lines.

You will interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, use varied hand tools and test equipment, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
• 2 years in assembly within a manufacturing, aerospace, or military environment.
• 2 years of testing one or more of the following: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical assemblies.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA facility will be considered for this position.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, teardown and test routine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies of simple to moderate product line.
• Organize data and prepare test reports.
• Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate work as needed.
• Proactively identifies best practices and assists in process improvements.
• Use test equipment to perform in-process testing and final ATPs and CMMs.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and adhere to safety rules.
