Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Planner to plan and implement production schedules for multiple product lines at Kingston, NY. You will coordinate with procurement, operations and multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery, while maintaining lean inventories and reporting production levels.

Minimum two years in production planning with MRP experience is required; associate degree in a business or supply chain field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in production planning.
• Experience with a business forecast, master production schedule and MRP systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule orders to meet customer needs and release work orders to production.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Operations to maintain minimum inventories.
• Interface with Logistics, Customer Service, Engineering and Quality to resolve delays.
• Generate, analyze and distribute production and inventory reports.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
