Job summary

Howmet is seeking a Planner to plan and implement production schedules for multiple product lines at Kingston, NY. You will coordinate with procurement, logistics and other departments to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

The role requires 2+ years in production planning, experience with forecasting and MRP systems, and a strong focus on continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or Supply Chain management.
• Two years' experience in production planning.
• Experience with forecasting, master production schedule and MRP systems.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and release production schedules to meet delivery and inventory goals.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure supplier delivery schedules.
• Maintain minimum inventory to support the production schedule.
• Interface with Logistics, Customer Service, Marketing, Engineering, Quality to resolve issues.
• Assist with the generation and distribution of production and inventory reports.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
