Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner to support operations across manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and as-built documentation. You will work with suppliers, processes, materials and data to meet rigorous aerospace delivery requirements, under senior leadership guidance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing planning, strong blueprint reading skills, and experience with CAD/CAM software. A U.S. citizen or eligible status is required.

Qualifications

• HS/GED/Equiv required; 5+ years of manufacturing planner or production experience or combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with blueprint reading and intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
• Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering organizational function and collaboration.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Maintains manufacturing plans, bills of materials, work instructions, and illustrations for as-built configuration.
• Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet requirements.
• Reviews supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
• Initiates tooling orders under guidance of senior leaders based on requirements.
• Assists in tooling dispositions and investigations of manufacturing-related issues.
• Assists in producibility assessments for parts or product designs under guidance of senior teammates.
• Reviews design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet costs and schedules.
• Develops work statements and sequencing to support delivery commitments.
• Provides ship side support under guidance of senior teammates.
