Job summary

Crissair, Inc. in California seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to provide technical leadership to a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Programmers. You will optimize processes, balance front-line supervision with long-term improvements, and drive Lean initiatives on the production floor.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Operations, and ensuring schedules are met with efficient, compliant manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of CNC programming experience.
• 1–3 years managing projects supervising 4+ personnel.
• Exceptional command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of aerospace fabrication, assembly, and GD&T.
• Lean principles experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering specs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4–10 manufacturing engineers and programmers; set priorities and drive accountability.
• Drive Lean manufacturing to maximize efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Partner with Engineering on new product releases for tooling integration and cost-effective assembly.
• Provide technical oversight for daily floor issues and MRB dispositions.
• Maintain accurate work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards and safety metrics.
