Job summary

Crissair, Inc. in California seeks a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality systems, assess processes, and drive improvements for aerospace components. You will work with production to resolve quality issues and support regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial preferred).
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA/EASA regulations.
• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing quality in aerospace or a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles and techniques for developing, building, and organizing teams, and leading quality initiatives.
• Apply cost of quality concepts, including quality cost categories, data collection, reporting, etc. Evaluated cost of quality and interpret results.
• Perform failure analysis on return product resulting in corrective actions to preclude occurrence.
• Assist production teams in analyzing and problem-solving across the company.
• Define, apply, and analyze the results of customer relation measures such as quality ratings, customer returns, and complaints.
