Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL seeks a Manufacturing Engineering professional to translate design intent into the compilation and control of technical instructions for product manufacturing, while supporting the shop floor.

You will manage the Manufacturing Dossier covering engineering information, quality control, measurement tasks, components, jigs & tools, maintenance, and health & safety. Join our Airbus U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read 2D engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite and data analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate design intent into engineered instructions for shop floor execution.
• Support integrated Manufacturing Dossier including engineering information, quality control and maintenance tasks.
• Define routings, BoM and SOI aligned with ABP processes.
• Collaborate with Production Team to implement shop floor improvements.
• Ensure ability to work in international teams and communicate effectively.
