Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to translate design intent into detailed shop floor instructions and to oversee the integrated Manufacturing Dossier for production execution.

This role involves creating routings, BoM, and SOI, supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, safety and timely delivery of aircraft components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years Airbus experience or 5 years industry experience.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate design intent into manufacturing instructions for production on the shop floor.
• Maintain the integrated Manufacturing Dossier for shop floor execution, including engineering data and QA tasks.
• Create/update routings, BoM and SOI to meet shop floor needs and ABP processes.
• Plan and lead regular feedback loops with Production Team and tech shop floor support.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
