Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leading aerospace engine manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to own technical aspects of a designated area and drive improvements. The role requires coordinating with tool builders, handling CNC programming, and advancing capital projects.

You will develop work instructions, lead PPAP/MRL activities, and contribute to lean initiatives, new part introductions, and data reporting. U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Capital equipment project experience.
• Machining process development experience.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Own technical aspects of the assigned manufacturing area.
• Coordinate with machine tool builders on requirements.
• Work with vendors on tool design.
• Write CNC programs when needed and support production implementation.
• Develop detailed work instructions for processes within designated area.
• Participate in PPAP/MRL activities related to the area.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and improvements in cell layouts.
• New capital implementation.
• New part introduction.
• Create data visualizations and data reports.
