Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aircraft engines and propulsion systems, is recruiting for an onsite engineering/quality role in the United States. You will interface with shop floor personnel, evaluate processes for compliance, and support manufacturing tasks including work instructions, PARs, and first article inspections.

A STEM degree with several years of experience is required. Preferred candidates have knowledge of quality systems and lean tools, with readiness for audits and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related field with 5+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or related environment; or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with inspection tooling and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the inspection and manufacturing communities; interface directly with shop floor operators and inspection staff.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and hardware to determine compliance to applicable requirements.
• Support day-to-day manufacturing activities such as review and approval of work instructions, PARs, and FAI.
