Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, is recruiting a Product Manufacturing Engineer to lead Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) work for legacy military engine programs. This onsite role collaborates with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to advance MRL elements across parts and families.

You will integrate with IPTs, drive producibility, perform PFMEA, yield/cost analyses, and support source selection with manufacturability considerations. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (manufacturing, industrial, mechanical) or related technical field and 7 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred; CORE/Six Sigma Practitioner/professional certification.
• Understanding of continuous improvement concepts: DFSS, Red-X, Lean, etc.
• Proficiency in statistics, data analytics, DOE, and multivariate statistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRL execution on critical parts and drive manufacturability into the design process.
• Refine and improve MRL standard work for early phase programs.
• Represent IPT and lead project reviews with scorecards and metrics.
• Coordinate with engineering, program, and operations to mitigate manufacturing risk.
