Job summary

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to bridge engineering development and repeatable production in Hayward, CA. The role supports internal operations and transfer of production capability to external partners, with roughly 25% travel.

You will translate engineering intent into clear, executable manufacturing processes and documentation, while helping ensure products can be built consistently, efficiently, and at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hands-on Manufacturing Engineering for complex electromechanical products.
• Ownership of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Experience with ECO/ECR processes and configuration control.
• Ability to read, interpret, and validate engineering drawings, CAD models, BOMs, specs.
• Strong cross-functional communication with engineers, technicians, quality personnel, suppliers and contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Own creation, maintenance, and improvement of MWIs, SOPs, and production documentation.
• Translate engineering data into complete production packages.
• Serve as interface between Engineering and Manufacturing to address gaps and manufacturability issues.
• Lead manufacturing implementation of engineering changes and production rollout.
• Support NPI, prototype builds, first production builds, and product feature transfers.
